Terms of service
These terms apply when a school, school group or other organization (the customer) opens a SkoolBro account, and to everyone the customer invites to use it. By creating an account or using SkoolBro, you agree to them.
Your account
- The person who opens the account is its owner and can invite others. The owner decides who gets access and which roles they have.
- Keep passwords private. Owners must use two-step sign-in, and we recommend it for everyone.
- Tell us straight away if you think someone has used your account without permission.
Your data
The records you keep in SkoolBro belong to you. We use them only to provide SkoolBro to you, as described in our privacy policy. You are responsible for having the right to record and share the information you put into SkoolBro, including any consent your school needs to contact families.
Using SkoolBro fairly
Please do not:
- use SkoolBro for anything unlawful, or to send messages people did not agree to receive;
- try to get into accounts or records you are not allowed to see, or test our security without asking us first;
- overload the service, copy it, or resell access to it.
Free trial and plans
New accounts start with a 14-day free trial, and no card is needed. To keep using SkoolBro after the trial, the customer chooses a plan. Each plan has limits, such as the number of schools, campuses, staff accounts and students, shown in the app. Prices are agreed with us before you pay.
If a plan is not paid, we may limit the account after telling the owner. We will give the customer a fair chance to export its records before anything is deleted.
Availability and changes
We work to keep SkoolBro available and your records safe, but planned maintenance and unexpected problems can interrupt it. We add and improve features over time. If we remove something you rely on, we tell owners in advance.
Ending your account
The owner can close the account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, after telling the owner unless the problem is serious or urgent.
Changes to these terms
When we change these terms, we update this page and the date below, and tell owners by email about important changes before they take effect.
